Maximisation of production is a prime objective of any operator; however operating constraints may
need to be taken into account in order to achieve this while minimising water or associated gas production.
Well production can be affected by poor reservoir quality or the deterioration of well productivity through time due to changing downhole conditions. Naphtho is able to determine the correct mechanical and chemical procedures to be carried out for on-shore wells in order to improve or restore productivity.
Depending on reservoir conditions and fluid types a number of different techniques are available to increase the efficiency with which an oil well can produce. Naphtho has the experience to determine the optimum artificial lift method.
WELL WORKOVERS AND INTERVENTIONS
Periodically wells can suffer mechanical problems which result in reduced productivity or HSE issues; as a consequence the well can be entered and repairs made. Naphtho is able to identify what needs to be done and plan accordingly.
In order to maximise hydrocarbon recovery, additional wells may need to be drilled within the existing field. We are able to integrate production and geological information to determine the best location for in-fill wells.
