Rabah BOUDISSA

Rabah Boudissa is Geology & Geophysics Director of Naphtho Technical Group. He is a seasoned geoscientist with over 21 years of experience in exploration, operational geology, and reservoir geology on various locations, for Oil & Gas Operating and Services Companies in North Africa and Central Asia.

Rabah has a broad technical experience on both clastic, carbonate reservoirs as well as on Unconventional reservoirs. Highly specialized on static modelling, prospect generation and reserve estimation with multinational teams of geophysicists, petrophysicist and reservoirs engineers for asset evaluation and exploration drilling; with production team and drilling engineers on well placement and production optimization. Rabah is strong team player with solid technical experience and ability to think beyond geoscience discipline. He mentored many young geologists on basics of exploration and operations geology. He also trained and mentored geoscientists on Geological modelling and reservoir characterization.

Rabah hold MSc on Petroleum Geology from the French Petroleum Institute and BSc on Structural Geology from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene in Algiers. He is also a Guest Lecturer in Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) for undergraduate and graduate classes for Reservoir Characterization and Reservoir Management class.
