Tabiat Tan YILDIZ

Tabiat Tan YILDIZ is Naphtho Technical Group Field Development Planning (FDP) Director and Project Manager of multi-disciplinary teams performing a wide range of E&P technical, commercial and strategic projects providing advice to oil companies, investors and government agencies.

Tabiat has a broad technical experience in analysis of subsurface formation characteristics, asset evaluation, management and in petroleum economics and spanned a variety of technical and management positions in Europe, North Africa, CIS Countries, Middle East Countries.

Tabiat has 22 years industry experience as a reservoir engineer with TPAO, KTM Ltd., and last 13 years with Schlumberger in different technical roles, followed recently by various consulting roles in Asset evaluation process projects in Albania, Georgia, Iraq etc.

Tabiat also serve as a lecturer in Middle East Technical University, Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Department for undergraduate and graduate classes along with his industry enduring activities. Tabiat, recent assignments have included managing operated and non-operated asset portfolios for start-up companies, performing due diligence for asset and company valuations.

Tabiat is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), and has authored numerous professional and internal technical papers throughout his career. He holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey; a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA; and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey.
